• Account data: name, email, company name, billing information
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, scan requests, dashboard interactions
• Brand data: domains, keywords, and competitor domains you add
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, session tokens

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the AEON platform
• To run AI engine monitoring queries on your behalf
• To send product alerts, reports, and Action Centre digests
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

• Contract performance — delivering the service you subscribed to
• Legitimate interests — product analytics, fraud prevention, security
• Consent — marketing communications (withdraw at any time)
• Legal obligation — tax records, regulatory compliance

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors required to operate the platform: Cloudflare (infrastructure), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and AI providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity) for anonymised query execution. All are bound to GDPR-equivalent standards.

6. Your Rights (UK & EU GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Monitoring data is retained for 24 months. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and anonymised analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Opt out of analytics via your account settings.

9. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, and role-based access controls. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any internet transmission.

10. Changes

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
